What HINVII™ Technology is and How It’s Used

HINVII™ stands for High Intensity Non-Visible Intelligent Illumination, and HINVII™ lights are a type of lighting that uses low-wavelength, non-visible light to make high-visibility materials more noticeable. Most commonly used in the public safety, utility, road maintenance, and construction industries, this technology allows non-visible light–that the human eye can’t see–to work behind-the-scenes to enhance the colors of the safety gear workers are wearing. Simply put, the higher visibility a worker has, the less likely they are to be hurt or injured while doing critical work.

Warning lights
These lights use HINVII™ technology to illuminate high-visibility clothing, reflectors, and equipment without distracting people or disturbing traffic. They are ideal for use by first responders and other workers who wear high-visibility clothing, such as police, fire, EMS, utility, construction, and mining workers.

Portable, rechargeable traffic cone-mounted worker lights
These devices use HINVII™ technology to emit a non-visible light that makes workers’ safety vests glow without impairing their vision. It can be mounted on traffic cones and has up to three lighting modes.
